Experienced Axe Throwing Instructor

Job Summary:

Revolution Adventures Florida is seeking an enthusiastic and safety-conscious Experienced Axe Throwing Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively teaching axe throwing techniques, ensuring participant safety, and creating a fun and engaging environment for our guests. You will be responsible for guiding individuals and groups through the fundamentals of axe throwing, providing personalized instruction, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and informative axe throwing instruction sessions for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
• Clearly explain and demonstrate proper throwing techniques, safety rules, and scoring procedures.
• Provide personalized feedback and coaching to help participants improve their accuracy and technique.
• Maintain a vigilant focus on safety protocols and ensure all participants adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Set up and maintain throwing lanes and equipment, ensuring they are in safe and working order.
• Assist with the check-in and check-out process for participants.
• Answer guest questions and address any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Promote a positive and energetic atmosphere within the venue.
• Potentially assist with other venue operations as needed (e.g., archery, paintball, ATV guide, basic maintenance).
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Axe Throwing Instructor is required.
• Strong knowledge of axe throwing techniques, safety regulations, and scoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain instructions and engage with diverse groups.
• Ability to demonstrate proper throwing techniques effectively
• A strong focus on safety and the ability to enforce safety rules in a firm but friendly manner.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to stand and be active for extended periods.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Ability to set-up and train guides on correct execution of throws and games
• Knowledge of different axe throwing game formats.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to handle minor equipment repairs.
