Overview
Our company is looking for a Custodian (2nd Shift) to join our growing team! As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cultivation center maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, contributing to the production of the highest-quality cannabis products for patients throughout Illinois
What You'll Do
- Ensuring the utmost cleanliness of the Cultivation Center.
- Daily cleaning and sanitization of Men's and Women's bathrooms.
- Organizing and emptying desks and office trash to promote an organized workspace.
- Creating a clean and inviting break room for our team members.
- Assisting with various errands as assigned by office personnel.
- Maintaining stock and supplies for bathrooms and break room to support smooth operations.
- Passion for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation - a genuine dedication to our mission.
- Positive attitude and strong ability to follow directions - an essential team player.
- High School diploma or GED - a foundation for success.
- Punctuality and reliability - vital for maintaining an efficient schedule.
- Meticulous attention to detail - ensuring top-notch cleanliness and safety.
- Physical fitness to lift up to 60 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds - a requirement for the role.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check - maintaining safety and compliance.
- Obtainment of a Cultivation Center Agent Card from the IL Department of Agriculture - regulatory compliance.
- Ability to maintain clean, bio-secure workspace
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
- Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to tolerate strong odors in the workplace
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
- 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation/Benefits Insights
- Pay Range based on demonstrated experience: 2nd shift - with first 3 weeks of training on 1st shift
- $18/hr
