Responsibilities

Revolution is now hiring a CDL Driver III in Altheimer, AR. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. This position is a full-time permanent role with a competitive benefits package in a clean and safe working environment.

This position also requires a CDL driver endorsement, as the liaison will be responsible for transporting trucks and trailers to and from repair facilities, when necessary, as well as collections and shipping routes.

• Must be trained on all CDL Driver I & II equipment within your region.
• Operate all equipment operated by CDL Drivers I & II.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies at all times.
• Responsible for prompt reporting of equipment problems to lead driver.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
• Follow daily routes assigned by the corporate dispatcher and perform daily refueling of equipment.
• Load and transfer post-consumer agricultural plastics from collection sites.
• Ship new products to customers.
• Communicate effectively with the vendors, customers, and peers to ensure a positive experience and be accurate in operational reporting.
• Designated Maintenance Specialist with additional repair responsibilities including (Sample listing – not all-inclusive):
  • Replacing shocks
  • Repairing outer wheel seals
  • Adjusting brakes
  • Installing brake chambers
  • Replacing belts and hoses
  • Repairing or replacing airlines, air dryers, and minor air leaks
  • Servicing turntable motors and gearboxes for booms
  • Installing Geo tabs
  • Repairing or replacing window switches and window motors
  • Charging AC systems
  • Coordinate additional PMs and repairs with vendors timely and as needed.
  • Communicate equipment status (repairs & service) to lead driver and Logistics Collections Mgr.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurable driving record required. 
• Advanced mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• At least 6 months of experience in driving a manual transmission truck.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Heavy equipment experience, including a skid steer and excavator.
• Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs. 
• Willing to work in a customer-driven and safety-conscious organization.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities within the workday.
