Responsibilities
Revolution is hiring a Quality Manager in Hudson, WI to ensure that every pound of film produced meets the highest industry standards. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a critical role in driving innovation, enhancing efficiency, and supporting our commitment to exceptional quality. This position offers the opportunity to lead impactful development projects while ensuring top-tier product quality and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site testing resources, implementing best practices across the organization.
- Ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations, optimizing workforce and resource allocation to meet operational needs.
- Operate laboratory equipment and maximize its performance.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to support manufacturing, quality control, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and product/process development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address production variables (e.g., temperature, pressure, piping) that impact product quality, resolving technical implementation challenges.
- Lead the planning and implementation of process changes, documenting procedures and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform and document standard operating procedures.
- Use data-driven approaches to identify and implement process and product improvements.
- Design and conduct competitive testing to benchmark product quality and performance.
- Seek out and incorporate cutting-edge analytical technologies both in the laboratory and on-line process controls.
- Align quality goals with the broader business vision and work collaboratively across organizational lines to achieve objectives.
- Influence operations to uphold quality standards and proactively communicate with management regarding quality issues or deviations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of relevant industrial experience; experience in a cast or blown film setting is preferred.
- Strong experience in experimental design, research analysis, and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Innovative problem-solving ability, with strong data interpretation skills and the ability to derive insights from incomplete information.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and collaborative skills.
