Job Function
This position plays a crucial role in performing inventory controls for Revolution Dancewear. Conducting cycle counts and inventory audits which contribute to the efficient operation of our facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
Key Objectives
· Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Conduct audits of inbound shipments.
- Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide floor support to Supervisor/Manager and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
- Communicate with internal contact regarding shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies, and maintain related documentation.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
- Attend regular meetings in person or virtually regarding miscellaneous duties relating to stock levels, etc.
- Performs other warehouse duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s) Needed
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
- One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
- May be required to be equipment certified
- Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices
- Ability to learn new computer software / programs including Excel
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inventory movements
- Courage to Take ownership for issues and problems.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
