Our team of designers pull from our huge existing inventory of furniture, props, staging, lighting, drape, linens, etc., and custom items are created by our in-house production team. This team consists of talented professionals in carpentry, vinyl/graphic printing, sewing, art, welding, centerpieces, etc. It is a very creative, fast-paced, casual environment where nothing is ever the same from day to day.
Position Overview:
Revolution Event Design and Production is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our growing team. As a key member of our finance and administration department, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting invoicing and payment workflows, and ensuring financial integrity across departments. This role plays a critical part in keeping our event production machine running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate client invoicing
- Process accounts receivable, generating invoices and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Manage credit card expense reports and field purchase reconciliations (including RAMP platform)
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for leadership
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for receipts, invoices, and financial records
- Support the Controller in preparing for audits and tax filings
- Assist with payroll entry and reporting as needed
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members to resolve billing or payment issues
- Ensure financial compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with RAMP or similar purchasing card systems preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with event production or creative industries a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
