What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Operator - DAY SHIFT - $1000 Sign-on position at Revolution Search Group?
Monday- Thursday (6am-4pm)
$1000 Sign-on Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, including pumps, valves, reactors, and distillation units.
- Measure, mix, and handle raw materials according to specified formulas.
- Adjust process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to maintain product quality.
- Perform routine quality control checks and record production data.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with maintenance when needed.
- Respond to spills, leaks, or emergency situations following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production logs, batch records, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding process conditions and issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or technical certification in chemical processing (preferred).
- Previous experience in a chemical plant, manufacturing, or related industry (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
