Nights Lead Operator (2-2-3)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and overseeing machinery in a manufacturing setting, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires advanced technical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of machine operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain complex machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot advanced issues as they arise.
• Perform and oversee routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Lead and train junior machine operators, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor and assist in the resolution.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
• Advanced understanding of machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good physical condition and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
