General Characteristics
- Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 software and hardware support.
- Offers technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers.
- Troubleshoots and restores routine technical service and equipment issues.
- Conducts root cause analysis and develops troubleshooting checklists.
- Recommends preventative procedures and controls.
- Maintains knowledge and call-tracking databases to improve issue resolution.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment, assisting with technical calls.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 2 years of IT work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic to moderately complex hardware and software
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
