Position: Entry level Engineering Technician

Pay $21-$23/hr plus yearly bonus, overtime potential and stock options
Essential Responsibilities
- Fatigue Testing
- Fatigue Crack Growth and Fracture Mechanics Testing
- Tensile Testing
- Creep and Stress Rupture
- Support design of new test apparatus as required
- Own the setup, instrumentation, assembly, calibration and specimen preparation of lab test frames
- Independently run lab tests and perform necessary data checks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with test apparatus.
- Coordinate and work closely with teammates to execute lab team objectives
- Ownership of developing test documentation including facility, frame build, and data sets
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma.
- An Associates Degree in a technical and/or relevant test or engineering experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Familiarity with the assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with the use of measurement devices and data acquisition IE calipers and micrometer.
- Strong communication.
- Experience with Microsoft office suite.
- Hydraulics or electronics experience a plus
- Lab experience, Hydraulic or Electronics background would be a plus
