Job Title: Jr Tax Associate
**Local candidates only - will work onsite 5 days per week **
Strictly temporary position for tax season
Full-time hours
Pay: $30 per hour
2 months contract (Start Date: 02/10/2025)
**Laptop provided **
MUST NOT HAVE ANY TIME OFF NEEDED DURING ASSIGNMENT DATES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing and reviewing partnership tax returns using client's systems
- Collects data for preparation of various reports using Excel, PDFs, or from databases
- Compiles data for reports and collates into a single report
- Assists in preparing, reviewing, or auditing reports
- Schedules, reports, and tracks information for department
- Forwards documents in system as needed
Skills:
**Candidates must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook **Candidates must have 4-6 years of financial services experience and 1-2 years of tax processing experience
Knowledge of:
- Processing and reviewing partnership tax returns
Skill in:
- Organizational and time management skills sufficient to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, electronic communication and maintain spreadsheets and databases
Ability to:
• Build solid, effective working relationships with others
• Coach others in the development of their skills
• Execute instructions and request clarification when necessary
• Provide courteous, timely service when addressing customer questions and concerns
• Speak clearly and concisely
