Printer Field Service Technician

Location : Washington, DC | Shift : M-F (Standby Hours may be required)

Not trainable, previous experience required

  • Duration : 12 months revolving (long-term benefits)
  • Citizenship : Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship at any point

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform physical repairs and maintenance on printers and imaging devices (beyond changing ink).
  • Install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair printers to meet customer specifications.
  • Deliver and install printer supplies, ensuring devices operate at peak performance.
  • Conduct technical analysis and recommend solutions for printer-related issues.
  • Accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and print-quality problems.
  • Train customers on proper usage of printer features and ensure SLA commitments are met.
  • Perform printer assessments to optimize the fleet and maintain customer standards.
  • Manage parts inventory, track repairs, and ensure all service documentation is completed.

    • Required Experience & Skills :

  • 2-5 years of experience servicing printers or imaging devices (physical repairs required).
  • Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid DC driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Sound administrative and computer skills; Microsoft Office knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to meet Government Background Check requirements.
