Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator. This is a temporary full-time position, working 8 hours a day, with the possibility of remote work 2-3 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance for multi-family housing and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for maintaining database records related to insurance, ensuring coverage meets partnership and investor requirements, and communicating with property management companies, general partners, and insurance agents as needed.
You will conduct analysis of insurance documentation, identify irregularities, and ensure compliance with organizational and investor rules and regulations. You will also evaluate variances between required versus actual coverages, maintain insurance records, prepare schedules, and provide requested information for management.
Additional responsibilities include preparing and tracking communications to management companies, general partners, and insurance agents, coordinating follow-up activities for multiple associates across multiple functional areas, and performing other duties as assigned.
Key skills include standard office skills, database software packages, insurance industry terminology, and operating standard office equipment. The ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
We require an Associate's degree and/or at least 5 years of relevant experience in administrative support, correspondence, typing, databases, or a similar field. Additional skills in dictation, general administrative, human resources, maintenance, office management, printing, telephones, training, clarifying, clerical, customer service, customer service oriented, finance, financial markets, liaison, operational support, operations, retail sales, scheduling, securities, securities industry, sorting, transcribing, and languages are also desirable.
