We are seeking temporary Assistant Technical Designer / s to assist us during our busy season. We are looking for candidates available to work 20-40 hours per week, starting mid-March through the end of June.
The candidate / s will provide overall support to the Technical Design team by performing various tasks including preparing garment samples, fit session administrative support and data entry. This position will work cross-functionally with design and pattern teams.
- Accurately measure garments to ensure they meet size standards.
- Prepare samples for fit sessions, including evaluating garment construction.
- Support fittings by documenting notes, taking photos, and helping with garment preparation.
- Assist in entering fit notes, photos, and comments into Centric.
- Maintain sample organization for the Technical Design team.
Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of garment construction and fit; understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in some / all of these programs a plus : Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Centric / PLM, Optitex.
This temporary position is eligible for participation in the Rev Up Brands, 401(k) plan. With 100% match on the first 6%.
