Home Health Aide

JOB: Home Health Aide
PAY: up to $17/hr.
LOCATION: Quakertown, will be required to drive to Berks and Northampton counties with supplied work car

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, contributing positively to their quality of life.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition monitoring to ensure clients receive proper nourishment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document care provided and update medical records as necessary.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring long-term care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medication administration protocols is beneficial.
