Material Handler

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Production Material Associate to join our team. As a Production Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Wiping down the covers of soft and hardcover books.

- Removing any labels, stickers, or adhesive marks using a heat gun and remover.

- Cutting the edges of softcover books using an electric paper cutter machine.

- Thoroughly inspecting the condition of both the inside and outside of books visually.

- Assisting the warehouse supervisor in maintaining inventory accuracy.

- Ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment.

- Performing any other duties as assigned.

Skills:
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately fulfill orders
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with stock management systems is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
