The Training and Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs and quality assurance initiatives within the healthcare revenue cycle operations. This role ensures that all employees are properly trained in regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company procedures while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and efficiency throughout RevOne Companies. The Training and QA Manager also leads efforts to continuously improve performance, reduce errors, and minimize risks related to the healthcare revenue cycle, customer service and much more.
Essential Duties of the Position
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing education for existing employees in all areas of the healthcare revenue cycle (billing, coding, collections, accounts receivable, insurance verification, denial management, etc.).
- Ensure training materials are current and in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDCPA, etc.), and organizational policies.
- Conduct training sessions both in-person and virtually, as needed, for employees across multiple departments and companies
- Assist managers and administration in developing and managing a quality assurance (QA) program to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of revenue cycle processes
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the quality and compliance of work performed by staff, identifying areas of improvement and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide feedback and corrective actions to staff regarding audit results and ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies, compliance risks, and operational challenges within revenue cycle processes.
- Participate in initiatives to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance productivity within the revenue cycle workflow.
- Generate detailed reports on training outcomes, quality assurance findings, and performance trends for senior leadership.
- Provide regular updates on training and quality assurance activities to management.
- Ensure all training materials and QA practices adhere to federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including HIPAA, FDCPA, Red Flag and other applicable standards.
- Provide individual or group coaching as necessary to help staff achieve optimal performance

Work Environment
