Purpose for the Position : To assume full responsibility of supporting the revenue strategy set forth by Revenue Optimization Consultants for multi-units in assigned region. The position is responsible for supporting the Area Directors’ tactical daily revenue management practice of rate promotion and inventory controls, utilizing all distribution channels to convert capacity RevPAR potential of multiple properties, as well as organizing reporting tools for future time periods.

Essential Responsibilities : To ensure that ROC revenue strategies are fully supported to continuously improve daily RevPAR penetration by coordinating and verifying key pricing decisions of several hotels with multiple brands

❖ Maximizes revenue of assigned hotels through a thorough, fluent knowledge of all relevant PMS/RMS system and understanding of all booking channels. Manages inventory allocation and price parameters positioned to achieve overall revenue goals across all applicable distribution channels

❖ Maintain communication to support in identifying abnormal room pace and achieving capacity occupancies

❖ Assist in the configuration of RMS and rate inventory control systems; system recommendation and forecast validation, daily report entry and analysis to produce and implement changes in the system

❖ Support the execution of hotels RM strategy; foremost in acting as central point of communication/liaison for Area Director and property-level personnel by continuously multi-tasking between all operating systems while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy

❖ Produce and analyze key brand and property-specific marketing reports to make successful decisions to increase revenue

❖ Monitor availability and ensure strategic room type, straight-line balancing of inventory on a continuous basis across all applicable distribution channels

❖ Address prior night other room revenue charges have been executed and hotel policies upheld for portfolio

❖ Consistently produce and maintain all RM rolling reports and yield tools to include, but not limited to; booking pace, strategy yield tools, property and ownership group forecast and production reports, budget and segmentation tools, ORR production reports, internal business intelligence program, master security access sheets, internal resource center; etc.

❖ Retrieve data from multiple sources including PMS, RMS, Sales systems, inventory distribution systems and extranets to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making

❖ Identify opportunities to design, implement and maintain reporting tools as well as optimize the business through key analytics and statistical measures

❖ Maintain the pricing and distribution strategy within the hotels PMS and extranets

❖ Assist in coordinating the production of the daily internal and weekly financial/ownership forecasts

❖ Assist the Area Director with pricing and yield decisions across all market segments based on the forecast

❖ Maintain the hotels RMS to ensure it is maximizing revenue potential on all compression dates into the future

❖ Address group blocks within the PMS for pickup/cut- offs/attrition/wash etc.

❖ Aggressively maintain a concise room type oversell/sell- through strategy for all future dates

❖ Support the rate loading process for all rate plans within all systems and continuously test book for accuracy

❖ Coordinate and attend hotels’ revenue meetings

❖ Produce routine reports for the Area Director and executive team members for analysis

❖ Take an analytical, creative and innovative approach to solving problems while maintaining a positive, people-oriented and energetic attitude

To do this kind of work, you must be able to:

➢ Use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets

➢ Analyze and interpret established policies

➢ Understand government regulations covering business operation

➢ Make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts as well as on your own experience and personal opinions

➢ See differences in widths and lengths of lines such as those on graphs

➢ Deal with the general public, customers, employees, union and government officials with tact and courtesy

➢ Plan and organize the work of others

➢ Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions

➢ Speak and write clearly

➢ Accept full responsibility for managing an activity

➢ Complete all assigned tasks, reports, projects etc. in a professional manner and on an on-time basis

➢ Be available for work evenings, weekends and holidays
