Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our growing team. This role involves providing essential care and support to patients in diverse healthcare environments, including nursing facilities, community care settings, and hospitals. Strong teamwork, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care are vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Support patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure.
Accurately maintain patient records and documentation.
Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Assist with patient mobility and transportation as needed.
Work alongside nursing staff to deliver personalized care plans.
Uphold health and safety standards to maintain a clean and secure environment for patients.
Apply knowledge of anatomy and caregiving practices to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Prior experience in nursing homes, home care, or similar settings is preferred.
Competence with medical systems and patient documentation is required.
Ability to perform clinical tasks like measuring vital signs and familiarity with medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
Experience in pediatric intensive care (PICU) is a bonus but not mandatory.
Physical capability to safely lift and move patients while following proper body mechanics.
