The Customer Support Field Engineer at Revvity provides expert service and support for diagnostic instruments, focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair, especially in newborn screening laboratories. The role requires approximately 80% travel within California, primarily in Southern California, with occasional trips to the Bay Area, to ensure optimal instrument performance, meet maintenance schedules, and drive high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation, Maintenance, and Repair : Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Revitty instruments, aiming for zero service recalls. Provide preventive maintenance and warranty services to contract and non-contract customers.
- Business Development : Drive sales of value-added services such as service contracts, upgrades, and laboratory products. Support local sales teams to secure new instrument orders and contribute to company profitability.
- Information / Asset Management : Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure proper handling of company assets like tools and vehicles.
- Continuous Skill Development : Participate in ongoing technical and professional development to enhance customer service and maintain certifications.

Compensation :
The base salary range for this full-time position is $74,000-$84,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered."
