Job Summary
As the Manager of Exploratory Product Development, you’ll lead a team focused on advancing products that power the future of gene and cell therapy. You’ll be at the forefront of developing critical reagents like antibodies, cell isolation kits, and cell culture media that are essential to groundbreaking therapeutic breakthroughs.
In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and HR—to drive continuous improvement, uphold the highest product quality standards, and deliver outstanding customer service and technical support.
Essential Functions
- Manage and inspire the Exploratory PD group, ensuring successful development of new products under ISO9001 : 2008 / ISO13485 : 2016 standards
- Oversee the optimization and troubleshooting of existing products and processes, ensuring peak performance and scientific excellence
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate the latest scientific research to support the creation of innovative new products
- Present experimental results, progress, and strategies to key stakeholders through engaging presentations and reports
- Develop and maintain SOPs, WIs, and other documentation that meets ISO and regulatory requirements while ensuring team compliance
- Mentor your team, identify future leaders, and support the professional development of each team member
- Work seamlessly with internal teams like Manufacturing, Quality Control, and HR to ensure alignment with business strategy and continuous improvement
- Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and product quality, ensuring compliance across all operational activities
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required
