About the role

Based at our Plymouth facility, located in Conshohocken, PA, the Storekeeper is a multi-task position involving inventory/storeroom related activities.

• Position Responsibilities:

  • Receiving all incoming materials and reconciling with purchase orders as well as tracking, documenting, and seeking to resolve any discrepancies on orders received
  • Maintaining and updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns to ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system
  • Ensuring that inventory parts are within established minimum and maximum levels
  • Assisting as needed with supplier relations and strengthening the supplier database while maintaining and assuring high ethical relationships both internally and externally
  • Assisting with low value procurement activities through the creation of purchase orders and the use of a purchasing card
  • Ensuring that procured materials and services are requisitioned properly and that materials and services received meet all aspects of quality, safety, timeliness, and best value to the company
  • Being responsible for shipping and receiving at the facility, which may require placing parts/equipment in designed locations within the warehouse
  • Shipping canceled and/or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate
  • Maintaining the warehouse and records area in a neat and orderly manner

  Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 1-3 years of related experience, prior experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
  • Experience managing inventory in an industrial environment is preferred.
  • Power plant experience and mechanical or materials management background, preferred
  • The ability to operate the plant’s mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, light trucks) in a safe manner and in accordance with standard operating policies and procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service oriented, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to facility upset conditions and provide support as needed

  Physical Demand of the Role:

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
  • Consistently work in various weather conditions
