About The Role

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Dispatcher will support and work reporting metrics to key central office and business unit managers. Customer service and data entry are key responsibilities of this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain high volume communication with clients and drivers regarding delays, changes, cancellations, re-routing, and continuous improvement processes. Instruct drivers on issues customers may be experiencing.
• Accurately completes DOT mandated paperwork, manifests, labeling, bill of lading, distributes to drivers daily.
• Creates Manifest, PO’s for outbounds for landfill and WTE facilities for subcontract drivers.
• Update schedule daily and distribute appropriately via service pro.
• Schedule WTE via Salesforce
• Receive Solidification inbounds and help with Wastewater when needed.
• Maintain email scheduling for customers by creating sales order, adding to service pro and scheduling drivers, if needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Track record of proven customer service skills including excellent communication at all levels of interaction.
• Scheduling within a fast paced, client driven environment within the transportation, manufacturing, or health care industries.
• Ability to work under demanding conditions and respond in a professional and timely manner.
• Must operate a variety of office equipment including a personal computer, email, internet, and customized business software.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentially.
• Dependable, strong mental and paper organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Daily prioritization of work activities and optimization of company resources.
• Approximately 50 hours per week (not guaranteed).
• 2 years of experience is preferred.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
