About the role
The duties of the Industrial Maintenance Technicianinclude the safe and efficient operation and mechanical repair of all equipment associated with the Residue, ferrous, and Non-ferrous systems. The chosen candidate will also perform lockout and tagout of the ferrous and non-ferrous system as well as becoming proficient at the ferrous and ash crane load out process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain daily logs
- Monitor the operation and maintenance of earth magnet conveyors, belt conveyors, motors and gearboxes, vibrating pans, grizzlies, screw conveyors, ECS magnets, drag conveyors, etc
- Operate mobile equipment such as Front-end Loaders, Skid Steers, Man-lifts, Lull's and Forklifts
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance including gearbox and motor change outs, ECS and conveyor belt change out, roller & bearing replacement, screen and spring replacements, belt tracking, scraper adjustments or replacement, metal & rubber skirting replacement, guarding repairs & structural repairs.
