Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Marketing Director to lead and coordinate marketing and development projects across the organizations. This role requires excellent writing and research skills to develop and report the Region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating impactful marketing materials and managing digital content to promote economic development and tourism initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and oversee the marketing strategies for both economic development and tourism initiatives.
- Manage and maintain multiple organizational websites, ensuring current, accurate, and engaging content.
- Produce and distribute regular newsletters and manage social media campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed reports for the development of the region's CEDS.
- Create marketing materials to promote the region as a key destination for business and leisure.
- Deliver strong and informative presentations to stakeholders and at public events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Marketing Director, or similar role, preferably in economic development or tourism.
- Exceptional writing and research skills with experience in report writing and strategy development.
- Experience maintaining websites and managing social media platforms and campaigns.
- Strong skills in creating marketing materials and conducting market research.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
