Job Overview :
The Special Services Field Services Manager holds a pivotal role in ensuring Special Services ability to provide un-matched customer service and project construction for our customers.
Key Responsibilities And Essential Tasks
- Coordinate manpower needs for service calls and projects assignments for Special Services Sacramento Area
- Manage the on-call schedule and process for the Special Services Sacramento Area
- Gather and transfer estimating information to the estimating team
- Identify scope and create back-up for express service quotes
- Gather and transfer design information to the engineering team
- Manage the EEW permit process for the for Special Services Sacramento Area
- Manage workforce development and training opportunities for the Special Services NorCal Area field staff
- Evaluate performance of Special Services Sacramento Area field staff and provide regular feedback
- Manage the review process for the Special Services Sacramento Area field staff
- Participate in review and development of project construction, installation, and delivery schedules
- Provide oversight and management of on-site Special Services Sacramento Area field staff activities through regular job site visits
- Provide support for coordinating activities with owners, general contractors and/or other subcontractors on job site
- Obtain regular feedback directly from clients in regards to project execution and client satisfaction
- Create, implement and improve processes for field operations and ensure conformance by the team
- Provide feedback and participate in project closeout meetings
- Collect best methods and practices from installation teams and implement improved standardized methods on future projects
- Meet with new customers and perform site walks to support sales staff and drive business growth

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Technical background in electrical construction
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a foreman, superintendent, or project manager in the electrical industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build, manage, and influence teams
- Strong knowledge of electrical and building codes
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural plans
- Understanding of Electrical Theory
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer focused with customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information
- Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information
- Required to sit at a desk workstation for long periods of time
- Push, pull, lift, and carry at least 10 pounds
- Frequently required to walk and stand. This position may involve infrequent site visits which will require the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors
- Required to use fingers and hands: type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach
- May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch
