Job Overview:
The EV Charger Services Division Manager leads the growth, operations, and success of Rex Moore's EV Charger Services division. This role oversees strategic planning, operational management, and financial performance while ensuring projects meet the highest standards. The manager fosters client relationships, identifies growth opportunities, and drives innovation in the EV charging industry. They also build and lead a high-performing team to achieve divisional goals and maintain compliance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Corporate Leadership
- As a Divisional leader, this position must be responsible in representing the company at a senior level embodying the companys Mission, Vision, Purpose and Values.
- Coordinate with other Rex Moore division/business unit leaders s as it relates to staffing, resource sharing and overall company cohesion.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the division's business strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies in the EV charging industry.
- Set performance objectives and ensure the division meets or exceeds revenue and profitability targets.
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, safety protocols, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Manage all EVC Services projects throughout the entire Value Stream insuring efficient and timely execution of every project
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of technicians, project managers, and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the division.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop relationships with prospective customers and maintain existing customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and resolve any escalated issues promptly.
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee the successful execution of service agreements.
Financial Oversight
- Full P&L Responsibilities of the division
- Prepare and manage the divisions budget, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and timely collection of payments.
- Forecasting and Backlog Management
Market Development
- Identify and develop relationships with candidate customers
- Promote the divisions capabilities through marketing efforts, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Stay informed about industry advancements, competitors, and regulatory changes impacting the EV charging sector.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and pursue new business opportunities.

Compensation:
Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employees knowledge, experience and skill level.
Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an office environment, although they may occasionally visit worksites to observe a project or to meet with clients
Location:
Rex Moore and affiliated offices are located throughout California and Nevada. This position requires frequent travel to the many locations and is flexible in its designate location.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.

Ability to operate a vehicle for travel.
Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time.

Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, business management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10 years of experience in the electrical contracting or EV charging industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of EV charging technologies, electrical systems, and industry standards.
Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in financial management and analysis, with a results-driven approach.
Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and compliance requirements related to electrical work.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Knowledge of the grant writing and issuance process for EV Charger funding
Experience in leading $10M division (Full P&L Responsibilities)
General understanding of financial modeling and ROI (Return on Investment) calculations
Customer focused with a background in sales is a must
General understanding of building electrical systems and how they differ from various facilities
Strong analytical excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build, manage and influence teams
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
Knowledge of electrical and building codes
Be able to read electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural plans
Understanding of Electrical Theory and Construction knowledge and experience
Strong Organizational, Math, Communication and Networking skills
Computer based estimating program knowledge (Accubid, Conest, McComick, etc.) preferred
Proficient in MS Office Suite
