What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Rex Vault & Mausoleum Service, Inc?
Job Overview
Service Tech will receive daily assignments from the Service manager which may include but not limited to; Septic inspections for real estate transactions, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
Service Tech Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of trucks for service calls and routines
- Driving to and from the job site
- Work with customers and homeowners on regular basis
- Wiring up aeration systems
- Changing septic filters
- Rebuilding Compressors
- Servicing all brands of aeration systems
- All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- The ability to take and follow written directions to get to and from job sites (GPS doesn’t always work)
- This position will work in all outdoor weather conditions
- Strong time management skills
- Must have strong organization skills and be detail oriented
- Ability to work weekends and overtime when needed
