This initiative will be focused on private equity real estate investments, with a priority currently on multifamily property acquisitions. With a track record of executing large-scale transactions, we are expanding aggressively and seeking an exceptional Director of Capital Formation to lead direct LP fundraising efforts.
In the last real estate cycle, our leadership acquired 17,000 multifamily units, successfully exiting 85% by mid-2022. Now, we are returning to the market with a strategy to scale even larger, leveraging deep operational expertise and a strong investment thesis.
We acquire large multifamily assets, requiring $10M–$30M in direct LP equity per transaction. This role is responsible for securing non-controlling LP capital for multiple transactions, with deals currently being pursued and plans to buy billions more as soon as possible, when accretive. We likely will structure the deals using agency debt, preferred equity, and passive LP equity.
The Role
The Director of Capital Formation will spearhead the firm’s direct LP capital-raising efforts, targeting family offices, UHNW individuals, and private wealth platforms seeking passive, non-controlling equity positions in real estate investments.
This role does not involve raising JV LP capital from private equity groups, institutional investors, or RIAs. Instead, it is designed for a strategic, high-caliber professional with a proven ability to cultivate deep investor relationships, structure compelling investment opportunities, and secure capital commitments from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other investors deploying their own funds.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional capital raiser with a well-established network of direct LP investors, a track record of securing $10M–$30M per transaction, and the ability to scale capital formation efficiently and at pace.

- Raising non-control LP capital to acquire billions in asset value, securing $10M–$30M per transaction from family offices, UHNWIs, and private wealth investors.
- Build and manage a pipeline of repeat direct LP investors to deploy capital across multiple acquisitions.
- Develop and execute targeted investor roadshows, private capital introductions, and one-on-one engagements.
- Lead and drive structured capital campaigns, from initial outreach through signed commitments.
- Develop and refine investment positioning, ensuring clear, data-driven messaging to LPs.
- Align fundraising efforts with broader firm strategy, working directly with senior leadership on capital market initiatives.
- Expand the firm’s brand among high-caliber private investors through strategic networking and investor-facing events.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor summits, and private capital introductions.
- Track and analyze market sentiment, investor demand, and capital allocation trends to optimize fundraising strategies.

- Base Salary: $150,000 - $350,000 annually.
