Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an In-Person Caregiver. This role involves providing essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and those requiring specialized care in their homes. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with dementia or in hospice care.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring clients can safely navigate their environment.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care settings, hospice care, or dementia care will be beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
