What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Rexing Companies?
Rexing Companies is a family-owned and operated family of companies, based in Evansville, Indiana. We have a passion for freight, customer service, and our employees.
We are currently looking for a Accounting Clerk to add to our incredible accounting team. With our company's exponential growth and rapid expansion, there are opportunities to grow within this position and in the company.
You will be an intricate member of our accounting team with a primary focus on billing for one of our three entities while assisting with the other two. You must have strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, the ability to think on your feet, and the ability to problem-solve and resolve accounting issues at hand. Experience working in QuickBooks is a plus, but not required, as long as you are willing to learn. If you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and can adjust to changing demands of the company, this position is for you! Experience in Transportation and Logistics is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required;
- Minimum one (1) Years Experience or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
- Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Software Preferred
- Knowledge of working in Prophecy Software is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles
Schedule
