Pay: $16.00 - $20.00/hour D.O.E.
Description:
Rexius is seeking a motivated Retail Yard Associate to join our team in providing top-notch customer service at our landscape materials and green waste recycling center. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting products such as barks, soils, and composts, as well as operate heavy equipment (e.g., loaders and forklifts) to load and unload materials safely. You will also be responsible for making residential deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs. Daily Tasks:
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on Rexius products and services, assisting customers in selecting and purchasing landscape materials that best fit their needs.
- Support customers in unloading yard debris at the recycling center, maintaining a clean and efficient drop-off process.
- Coordinate and manage residential deliveries, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely arrivals, and clear customer communication.
- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, front-end loaders, skip loaders) safely and effectively, following all company and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and properly dispose of debris from local yard haulers (Sanipac, Lane Apex, and Royal Refuse), upholding Rexius’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Stand for 8 hours a day, able to lift, push and pull 50lbs
