Job Responsibilities:

• Operate manual and computer-controlled equipment
• Check accuracy of work against blueprints
• Read and review electronic or written blueprints
• Select tools and materials for the job
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards

Job Requirements and Qualifications
**Education, Experience or Formal Training: **

• High School diploma or the equivalent
• Proven experience as a machinist, with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in operating and/or programming manual and automated equipment
• Ability to use precision tools and take accurate measurements
• Ability to adapt and make changes under pressure
• CNC programming experience
• Manual machine operating experience is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Computer skills are a plus
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items (60 lbs.)
• Attention to detail
