About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- You will work closely with our technicians to diagnose and repair complex issues with our tractor trailers.
- As a Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Technician, you will ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced to meet company standards.
- Additionally, you will participate in on-going training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Participate in roadside service calls to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
