We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Reyes Fleet Management team as a Fleet Diesel Mechanic Trainee.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time trainee to develop their skills and knowledge in diesel mechanics, working with our growing fleet shop that distributes iconic brands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preventative maintenance of fleet and material handling equipment
- Completing necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records
- Learning and assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 1 years of related experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds
