Fleet Diesel Technician B
We are hiring a full-time 2nd Shift Fleet Diesel Technician B to assist with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our facility shop in West Dundee, IL.
Shift: Full-Time 12:00PM-8:30PM, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $25.00-$27.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:
- The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance
- Inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
- Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical School Certification
