Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Reyes Fleet Management. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems
- Repair and maintain brake systems, clutches, and other critical components
- Operate company vehicles to diagnose and repair equipment during roadside service calls
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in heavy duty vehicle repair and maintenance
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds
