Position Responsibilities :
The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system
You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls
You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and / or cameras (DriveCam)
You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
