Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic who can repair, maintain, and overhaul fleet diesel equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and rebuilding clutches and brake systems, as well as ensuring that equipment is roadworthy.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain fleet diesel equipment, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
- Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and cameras
- Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
