What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Technician B position at Reyes Fleet Management?
We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician B to join our team at Reyes Fleet Management. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and making sure that equipment has required licensing and registration.
You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. You will also examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience. You must also be able to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds, and possess a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.
