We're seeking an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to join our team at Reyes Fleet Management. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Conduct detailed inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
- Operate company vehicles to provide roadside assistance and conduct on-site repairs.
- Verify that all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards before releasing it for use.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance.
- HSD or equivalent and valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally 100 pounds, and possess own tools meeting minimum requirements.
