Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a highly skilled Trailer Repair Specialist to join our team in Portage, IN. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining new and refurbished trailers.
Job Summary:
The Trailer Repair Specialist will primarily work on repairs, diagnostics, and inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic technology/software. You will also be responsible for installing trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics, as well as performing basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain new and refurbished trailers
- Diagnostics and inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems
- Installation of trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics
- Basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
- Valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
