Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management processes and ensuring accurate stock levels.
Duties
- Track and maintain accurate inventory across all retail store locations using the company vehicle for deliveries and transfers.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Work with supply chain teams to manage stock replenishment and avoid excess inventory.
- Apply inventory management best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including pricing adjustments and stock movements.
- Receive and stock deliveries into the Warehouse Management System.
- Work as a team the purchasing team and VP of Retail to determine the optimal times and quantities for replenishment.
- Pick, pack, and ship replenishment stock to stores in Oahu and arrange shipping for outer island stores.
- Pack and ship Return to Vendor (RTV) items for both the warehouse and stores.
- Assist with store-to-store transfers and deliver special orders to stores, hotels, customers, or retailers.
- Oversee merchandise damage reporting on a monthly basis and prepare a comprehensive damage report.
- Oversight of the replenishment center to include inbound and outbound while maintaining all safety protocols.
- Assist in store activities outside of the replenishment center to include physical inventory, pop ups, and store openings.
- Other responsibilities as delegated or as required to support team objectives and business needs.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- 1-2 years retail store experience (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a passion for efficiency and order.
- We are looking for someone entrepreneurial and “make-it-happen”, who can take the systems we have today and make them better.
- You should enjoy working with a team, but also be comfortable working independently.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Proficient with inventory software and systems.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
