Job Description
What are we looking for?
Reyn Spooner is in search of a retail sales manager for our Kuku'iula store. The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a team of retail sales associates, optimizing store performance, and maintaining the store's inventory and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed weekly and monthly sale targets and KPI targets.
- Develop strategic initiatives focused on enhancing customer engagement to drive annual sales growth and overall company profitability. Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Proactively and regularly train the store team to deliver exceptional customer service, thereby creating a welcoming shopping environment and facilitating the achievement of sales goals.
- Fosters a cohesive and happy team characterized by open communication, empathy, and a sense of belonging.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensures the store operates efficiently by analyzing performance metrics and managing inventory to minimize discrepancies.
- Manage the store budget and control expenses to optimize profitability.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Ensures that the store environment is an excellent customer shopping experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization, consistently replenishing merchandise, and keeping visual displays and marketing materials current and well-presented.
- Proactively collaborates with Human Resources to ensure the store is fully staffed by contacting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and working collaboratively with HR through the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in retail management or a comparable role (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Team players who are always ready to encourage and support the team.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, to meet the needs of our thriving business.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- High School diploma or GED.

- Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
