What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Reporting Analyst – Reinsurance position at Reynolds and Reynolds?
American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst in Reinsurance to join our growing team. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance reports for small warranty reinsurance companies, processing and reviewing reinsurance transactions, while staying in compliance with terms and conditions of the reinsurance agreements. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support, develop and enhance reinsurance reports
- Handling issue resolution while providing internal and external support
- Work closely with the Reinsurance and Funding Director to identify any possible internal control issues or concerns
- Build, strengthen and maintain positive business relationships by establishing rapport with agents and dealers
- Supervise the use of banking websites to create reports
- Review manual data entry into reinsurance reporting system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Account/Finance related subject area
- 2 years experiences in accounting for insurance, reinsurance, or warranty company required
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Strong mathematics proficiency, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, commissions, percentages, and volume
