Responsibilities
Your Role:
As an Associate Category Manager, you will provide support to the Walmart team by way of providing analytics on multiple categories across multiple departments OR Category Management responsibility for one category, operating at the Category Advisor level. - Category management responsibilities for one or more categories, operating at the Category Advisor level in at least one category.
- Provide category and shopper insights using internal data and syndicated data in relation to item distribution, modular shelving processes, industry and market trends, and pricing.
- Actively involved in utilization of space management technologies and applications in the creation and implementation of planograms at store level.
- Provide retail customers and Reynolds internal management with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting according to their needs.
- Establish strong working relationships, internally and externally, focused on the Walmart business across all categories with a goal of streamlining collaboration and communication thereby driving profitable results for the organization as well as our business partners.
- Stay abreast of business trends, economic conditions, customer initiatives, competitive activities, and historical learning in order to provide decision support to internal teams as well as our customer.
- Support Sales and Category Management teams on special projects.
- Meet regularly with Category and Sales teams to assist in special projects as well as developing appropriate insights to business issues through the mining of data that will drive increased sales and profits for the retailer’s category and RCP brands.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 4 years of related professional Category Management/Analytical experience in a CPG company or brokerage firm.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Strong knowledge in use of customer system software (Luminate).
- JDA software for space planning.
- Proficient in gathering, compiling, and analyzing “data” resulting in actionable insights.
- Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
