Responsibilities
Your Role:
This role will provide the opportunity to cross-collaborate among the many key partners within our organization, including Business CFO, VP of Operations, Plant controllers, Supply chain, Demand planners and Marketing groups. You will partner with them to provide strategic understanding of the financial results of our business and provide insight into key drivers. This role will also collaborate heavily with our plants lending support on capital spend, reporting, tracking, ROI, as well as involvement in key operational opportunities. Overall, the role will provide exposure to one of our company’s most diverse portfolio of products, getting the chance to assist on key projects and exposure to the leadership team.

- Actively support month-end reporting and analysis of plant financial results – telling the financial story for our business unit.
- Assist in the reporting, analysis and tracking of multi-million dollar capital projects.
- Support the reporting and management of key inventory reserves.
- Support the development of Operational quarterly/annual forecasts, interpreting data, analyzing key drivers and presenting comparative changes to the Operations/Executive teams.
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
- Develop strong relationships across the organization, collaborating on key projects and supporting key objectives.
- Develop unique solutions to complex problems, with a focus on driving business profitability and cash flow management.
- Develop efficiencies and process improvements within the teams work.
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-3 years relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- High degree of accountability and a demonstrated ability to drive results with a “get it done” attitude.
- Quick and agile learner, able to think critically with strong problem-solving skills.
- Independent but enjoy collaborating and working with a high-performance team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and successfully juggle multiple tasks at once.
Icing on the cake:
- Manufacturing industry/Plant costing experience.
- Working towards completion of CPA, MBA or other advanced degree.
- Capital asset management.
