Pay: $22.76 / Hour
Responsibilities:
As a Floor Support II Break Relief, you will be responsible for operating assigned equipment to package finished products. You will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain acceptable production levels and quality.
- Perform quality checks according to PQP every 30 minutes and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Develop communication channel with TPM team, shift responders, process specialists, team members, team leaders, and shift leaders

Monitor, maintain, and drive improvements to process controls
Participate in activities related to training, safety, quality, cost improvements, production reporting, and production efficiency improvements -
Participate in AM Equipment Wellness events
Glue checks and date code checks once an hour. - Check quality of product when first taking over machine.
- Report machine defects to team leader and shift leader and use Help chain effectively in getting issues resolved.

Assist in start-up and shutdowns.
Safe operation of bag machine and good housekeeping. -
Respond to a pile up, wrap up, and/or rip off in a timely manner that does not create additional scrap.
Re-thread machine -
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
Return unused parts to designated return parts area and record them on the return to inventory report. -
Pack finished product on skids and log information into SHOPFLOOR system timely and accurately.
Make changeover adjustments on carton gluers; monitor glue levels throughout shift and check oil daily. - Supply information required to fill out production reports.
- Handle scrap according to established procedures.

Change carton date codes at shift start.
Maintain good housekeeping. -
Responsible for maintaining personal conditioning to physically perform essential job functions
Identify non-conforming product and complete a back check procedure for the quality defect. - Other duties as deemed necessary by your or shift leader.

Responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with
authority to take action.

We need you to have:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- Flexible schedule with the availability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
Icing on the cake:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of basic extrusion and converting process
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and countermeasures
