We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Malvern, AR.

Pay: $35.539/Hour

Responsibilities

As a maintenance electrician, you will plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, circuits, and testing procedures; shop mathematics; hydraulic operation and repair; pneumatic instrumentation; computer programing applications; and related subjects.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Maintains instrument and electronic systems and circuits including all types of electrical and electronic equipment such as communication systems, monitoring equipment,computerized production equipment, flame safe equipment, heating and air conditioning equipment, and measuring and testing equipment.
• Adjusts, calibrates, repairs, and modifies circuitry and components such as solenoid valves, starters, relay switches, P.C. boards, lighting, programmable controllers, and motors, as required.
• Sets up standard measuring and testing equipment to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of electronic equipment and circuitry using instruments such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, vibration analyzers, tachometers, potentiometers, frequency meters, signal generators, ultrasonic testers, heat sensors, special recorders, digital multimeters, control circuits, optical gauges, PLC terminals, and test benches.
• Checks and records instrumentation data.
• Lubricates and cleans electrical equipment as required. Secures parts and special tools fram stores as needed. Changes belts and pulleys onmotors.Operates hoists, platforms, ladders, dollies, etc. as required.
• Performs all jobs in a workmanship and safe manner, keeping work area and equipment clean and orderly.

Requirements

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding job activities
• Ability to work a rotating 12 hour shift

Icing on the cake:

• Manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial setting
• Prior experience in the consumer product goods industry
