Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Process Technician is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes. This person will work closely with operations to identify improvements and follow through on the projects until completion.

- Make development and commercialization timelines visible to ensure customer needs are met and to drive priority decisions within business.
- Prioritize and implement improvement initiatives in productivity, safety, quality, cost, and reliability.
- Provide leadership and knowledge to manufacturing personnel including: technical manager, engineers, and maintenance.
- Prototype new ideas/improvements and scale to manufacturing usage.
- Develop systems that ensure timely completion of projects
- Support product innovation and assist with launches of new products
- Upholds safety and environmental programs with 100% compliance with safety rules and policies, training requirements and housekeeping expectations for self, employees, and contractors supervised
- Responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives
- Support installation and startup of new capacity
- Makes presentations/communicates appropriately to business and technical leadership to report on project status.
- In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.
- Support Operations with troubleshooting and root cause analysis as requested

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- High School diploma.
- 3 years of practical work experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
- Experience working with cross functional teams developing and commercializing new products within a CPG company.
- Demonstrated experience and application of complex concepts, practices and procedures within particular engineering field.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Able to work extensively on processes/equipment in a production floor environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills using root cause analysis.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
- Ability to travel to support projects at multiple manufacturing facilities.
